What BMS will not do with MYOB AE

No writing into MYOB AE, no ATO lodgement, no second copy of money figures, no real-time two-way sync.

  • BMS never writes into MYOB AE. It only reads. Anything going into MYOB AE, such as receipts from Bank Matching or time from Export for MYOB, is a file your own admin imports in MYOB AE.
  • BMS does not lodge with the ATO. Lodgement stays in your tax software. BMS only reads the ATO’s lodgment status report you upload.
  • BMS keeps no second copy of the money. WIP, bills, write-offs and debtors are MYOB AE’s figures, shown as they are, never re-entered or worked out again in BMS.
  • There is no real-time two-way sync. BMS reads a snapshot. Changes made in MYOB AE show in BMS at the next import or read.
