Connected apps overview

What can connect today and what is coming soon.

Settings > Connected Apps lists every app BMS can work with.

Connected Apps: Booker Practice Sync connected with Manage; Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, QuickBooks Online and Xero available but needing setup on this server, with Connect; and apps such as Aider, Cognito Forms, Companies House and Dext marked Coming soon with Details.

Each app shows where it stands:

  • Connected, with Manage: it is working.
  • Available - needs setting up on this server, with Connect: BMS supports it, but the server needs the app’s keys first. Today that is Xero, QuickBooks Online, Google Drive, OneDrive and Dropbox.
  • Coming soon, with Details: not available yet.

Your own systems can connect through the REST API; see Register an API application.

Still need help?

Ask your firm's BMS admin first: they can see your access level and your firm's settings. Clients of a firm should contact their accountant.
