What BMS AI can see

BMS AI needs an Anthropic API key set on the server, and it is not connected on bmsp.app yet. Until it is, every BMS AI button says it is not connected, and nothing is sent anywhere.

BMS AI answers as you, with your own permissions.

• It sees only what you can see. It reads work, clients, email and time through your own access. A Restricted User’s BMS AI sees only their own clients and work, and private email stays private.
• Money needs View Dollar Amounts. Without that permission, BMS AI sees no fees, WIP or invoice amounts. Invoices also need Billing access.
• Shared summaries never carry money. A summary saved on a work item for others to read never includes dollar amounts.
• It is off until your firm turns it on. An Admin enables it, chooses the model and sets a monthly limit; see Turn on BMS AI and set a monthly limit.
