A few to know:

| Production | Time recorded, at standard rates. |
| WIP | Billable time not yet on a final bill. |
| Realization | Billed against the standard value of the time billed. |
| Utilization | Billable hours against total hours. |
| % Billable | Billable hours against hour capacity. |
| Effective Billed Rate | Billed amount per billable hour. |
